ABOUT HEIKE NY

Heike Jarick is a German-born, London-schooled, Milan-trained, and New York City-based fashion designer with a global focus.

An advanced contemporary label called HEIKE was launched in 2014, adding a layer to the designer’s impressive oeuvre.

Exclusive fabrics from Italy and Japan with specially selected color stories are Heike’s signature. She is inspired by contemporary art, music and architecture, Bauhaus theory in particular. Soft shapes and sculptural elements retain their raw forms, and are always executed effortlessly. Pieces are often multi-use, multi-purpose and highly versatile, with a strong focus on construction and deconstruction,

The brand’s interplay of hard and soft has been celebrated in international fashion magazines and worn by celebrity clients including Maye Musk and Billy Porter.

Heike honed her design skills at Central Saint Martins in London and graduated with honors. She subsequently worked for notable fashion labels such as Soprani, Krizia and Trussardi in Milan, as well as Searle in New York. She also consulted on Work and Friends, a Yohji Yamamoto subsidiary collection in Tokyo.
